Frequently asked questions
Can I create a business as a foreigner living in France?
Yes! EU citizens can freely create a micro-enterprise. Non-EU residents need a residence permit that allows self-employment ("vie privée et familiale", "résident", "talent"). Student visas and "salarié" permits do not allow it.
Is the form in English?
The form is in French (because official French documents require it), but the questions are simple and we guide you through every step. This page explains everything you need to know before starting.
How much does it cost?
Our service costs 25€ (tax included). The government registration itself is free — you pay for our support, verification, and peace of mind. Money-back guarantee.
What taxes will I pay?
Social contributions of 12-23% of your revenue, depending on your activity type. No revenue = no taxes. You can also get a 50% reduction the first year with ACRE (if eligible). Try our tax simulator →
Can I work as an employee AND have a micro-enterprise?
Yes, in most cases. Check that your employment contract doesn't have an exclusivity clause. Many people in France run a micro-enterprise alongside their regular job.
